chronic pain AND ocd therapy in CA and NY
WE CAN TRANSFORM YOUR PAIN.
RADHIKA REDDY, PH.D.
MEET RADHIKA!
I’ve always been fascinated with psychology my entire life. I’m a naturally curious person. This drew me to majoring in Psychology while a student at UC Berkeley. My strong interest in mental health in particular led me to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. My training reflects both my academic/research and clinical interest in understanding OCD, anxiety, and sleep issues including how we can improve treatment for these struggles.
I’ve had my own experience with chronic pain and other common mind-body related struggles for years. I eventually came across Pain Reprocessing Therapy which helped me to reverse the chronic pain. This truly felt like nothing short of a miracle, after years of believing (and even being told by medical professionals) that I was likely going to be stuck in chronic pain for the rest of my life. I immediately got trained in this modality to help others who have had a similar struggle as mine, and have had the honor to help many people experience drastic improvement in their symptoms. I have seen them move from a state of disempowerment, helplessness, fear, and isolation towards a life of connection, trust, and confidence.
I very often work with people who identity as perfectionists who struggle which chronic feelings of overwhelm, pressure, procrastination, and stuckness.
Because I have specialities in both OCD/anxiety and chronic pain treatments, I often have clients who reach out with both of these struggles. There is actually a lot of overlap with these struggles, and I’ve been told that there are not many professionals who specialize in both areas.
I’m super passionate about what I do. My work has immense personal and professional meaning to me.
