PAIN REPROCESSING THERAPY (PRT) WORKSHOP
LEARN PRT STRATEGIES THROUGH AN 8-WEEK PROGRAM ALONGSIDE OTHERS!
In this educational workshop you will learn:
This workshop is designed to give you a new way of understanding pain—one rooted in the most up-to-date neuroscience and delivered in a compassionate, supportive environment. Over the course of 8 weeks, we’ll explore powerful mind-body tools that can help you reduce or even eliminate chronic pain.
Here’s a glimpse of what we’ll cover:
🌱 Understanding the Science of Chronic Pain
You’ll learn how and why chronic pain can persist—even when there’s no longer tissue damage—and how the brain can “unlearn” pain. This foundational knowledge helps shift your relationship to pain from fear to curiosity and possibility.
🧠 The Brain-Pain Connection
We’ll explore how the nervous system can get stuck in a pain-fear cycle, and how to begin gently interrupting it. You’ll start learning how to spot patterns that may be keeping pain active.
💬 Noticing and Reframing Pain Messages
You’ll practice techniques to change the way you respond to pain when it shows up—learning to send new, safer messages to the brain. We’ll work with language, thought patterns, and body awareness.
🌊 Reconnecting with Safety in the Body
Chronic pain often makes the body feel unsafe. We’ll work with somatic (body-based) practices that help you reconnect to your body in ways that feel calming, empowering, and supportive.
💛 Working with Emotions That May Be Tied to Pain
Unprocessed emotions like fear, grief, or anger can sometimes get “stuck” in the nervous system. We’ll gently explore emotional awareness and expression, at a pace that feels right for you.
🌿 Calming the Nervous System
You’ll learn simple, effective tools to regulate your nervous system and shift from “fight or flight” into a state where healing can happen. Think grounding practices, breathwork, and body-based techniques.
🔁 Reclaiming Joy, Movement, and Trust
As your nervous system begins to feel safer, we’ll talk about reintroducing the activities and parts of life pain may have taken away. You’ll learn how to re-engage with your world from a place of confidence and care.
🔄 Integration and Moving Forward
this workshop is for you if:
You live with chronic pain and feel stuck, frustrated, or hopeless
You’ve tried other treatments with little or no lasting relief
You're curious about mind-body approaches backed by neuroscience
You want a supportive group setting where your experience is validated and respected
You don’t have to figure this out on your own—and you don’t have to live in fear of your body.
Let’s explore what healing can look like—together.
